These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of MiBiblIA (the "Service"), operated at mibiblia.chat. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. You are responsible for the information you provide, for keeping your credentials secure, and for all activity under your account.
2. Description of the Service
MiBiblIA is an AI-powered tool that helps you explore questions about the Bible and related topics through chat on our website and on WhatsApp. Responses are generated by large language models and may include biblical references.
3. Not a substitute for professional or pastoral advice
The Service is provided for informational and reflective purposes only. It is not a substitute for pastoral counseling, medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice. Always consult a qualified professional or spiritual leader for decisions that matter.
4. AI-generated content
Responses are generated by artificial intelligence and may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies, including in biblical quotations or interpretations. Verify important information against primary sources. You are responsible for how you act on the output of the Service.
5. Free tier and subscriptions
The Service offers a free tier with a limited number of monthly messages and paid subscription plans. Subscription fees, billing cycles, and included features are described on our pricing page. Payments are processed by Polar and Stripe.
6. Cancellations and refunds
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to: (a) use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent activity; (b) attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or abuse the Service; (c) use the Service to generate content that is illegal, harassing, defamatory, or infringes the rights of others; (d) share your account; or (e) interfere with the integrity or performance of the Service.
8. User content
You retain ownership of the content you submit to the Service. You grant us a limited license to process that content as needed to operate, maintain, and improve the Service, consistent with our Privacy Policy.
9. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by MiBiblIA or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the rights expressly granted in these Terms, no rights are transferred to you.
10. Third-party services
The Service relies on third-party providers (including AI model providers, payment processors, and messaging platforms). Your use of those components may be subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for reasons related to the security or integrity of the Service. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.
12. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MiBiblIA and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
14. Changes to the Service or Terms
We may modify the Service or these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Chile, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be submitted to the competent courts of Santiago, Chile, except where mandatory local law provides otherwise.
